Kevin Smith To Make Animated Movie

A Clerks: The Cartoon direct to DVD feature film has been in the works for years now. But it looks like fans will have to wait a little longer, because Kevin Smith has slipped that he has found another animated feature he would like to do before that.

"Clerks Sell Out has been swapped out for a different straight-to-DVD cartoon flick," Kevin Smith breifly mentioned on his website without going into further details.

Did Weinstein greenlight the long talked about Mallrats 2: Die Hard in a Mall (which began as a joke, and has long been an announced graphic novel in development) or a Bluntman and Chronic movie? We'll have to wait to find out.

Smith also revealed that he hopes to start shooting on his previously announced horror film this fall.
