Videos: Behind The Scenes Of Wes Anderson's The Darjeeling Limited

Fox Searchlight has sent us four behind the scenes videos for Wes Anderson's The Darjeeling Limited, which hits select theaters on September 29th 2007. It is rather strange timing to release these videos on a day which has the media reporting on the health problems of star Owen Wilson. Either way, you can check them out after the jump, provided with segment synopses written by Wes himself!

Behind The Darjeeling Limited – On the Motorcycle: "In India, motorcycles always carry at least three passengers on any given ride, and often an entire family. Our favorite brand is called the Hero

Honda."

Behind The Darjeeling Limitied – The Caboose: "There are no longer cabooses on passenger trains in India (or anywhere else for that matter?), so our production designer Mark Friedberg built one. We shot these scenes near our workshop in Jodphur."

Behind The Darjeeling Limited – 1000 Bulls: "We started our shoot in the middle of one of the busiest and least accessible (by anything other than bicycle or auto-rickshaw) parts of Jodphur. Luckily, our key grip Sanjay Sami introduced us to his "rickshaw dolly" which became our favorite piece of equipment."

Behind The Darjeeling Limited – The Lost Train: "You are never alone in India. Even in the middle of the most remote desert, if you take a careful look, you will find that there are people and animals around you somewhere. This scene was shot on top of a high dune near a village called Osian."
