Because some movies actually shoot on location instead of on a sound stage, fans have a chance to visit the real life settings of some of their favorite movies and TV shows. However, this can create some frustration with those in charge of maintaining said locations that are constantly visited by tourists. Case in point, the Tanner family home from the sitcom Full House.
The house of the Tanner family from ABC’s sitcom Full House actually exists in San Francisco. The interior isn’t anything like that of the actual house, but it’s the exterior with the red door that fans have been anxious to snap a photo of whenever they’re in The City by the Bay. Unfortunately for fans, the house hasn’t looked the way it does in the show for years now, and the owner of the house was not keen on the couple hundred people per day who would stop by the house for a picture. Netflix presented a panel on Fuller House to the Television Critics Association with returning stars Candace Cameron Bure, Jodie Sweetin and Andrea Barber, with creators Jeff Franklin and Bob Boyett. Franklin and Boyett spoke with a roundtable of journalists later in the day about the new incarnation of TGIF classic Full House.
Fuller House embraces the nostalgia with some self-referential humor, including a reference to the Olsen twins and several references to classic Full House episodes. “Who gets to do that?” Franklin said. “Who gets to reference 192 episodes that have been watched over 29 years and have everybody get the jokes? It’s great. It was a lot of fun. There was a lot of stuff I didn’t want to do because we tried not to do that too much, but it was just fun to do those kinds of jokes.” Read More »

Warner Bros. television is considering a possible reboot of Full House, the popular ABC television sitcom which ran 1987 to 1995.
