It’s time for another trailer round-up, in which we take a quick look at a few upcoming movies or TV shows that have slipped through the cracks. Today, we’re highlighting UFO, a paranoia thriller about alien spacecraft appearing on Earth; Hunt for the Skinwalker, a documentary about “the Area 51 of the paranormal”; and Rest in Power: The Trayvon Martin Story, a six-part docu-series produced by Jay-Z about the teenager whose murder made national news and sparked a revolution.

Trailers are an under-appreciated art form insofar that many times they’re seen as vehicles for showing footage, explaining films away, or showing their hand about what moviegoers can expect. Foreign, domestic, independent, big budget: What better way to hone your skills as a thoughtful moviegoer than by deconstructing these little pieces of advertising?
