Kevin Smith has just revealed a bunch of details for his Christmas horror anthology. Once called Comes the Krampus, it’s now been re-titled Anti-Claus, and filming will start in September. Smith will be joined in the film by Justin Long, Haley Joel Osment, Genesis Rodriguez and Michael Parks, all of whom appear in this year’s Tusk. Parks and Long have also worked with Smith before that.

“Nobody but me can make a CLERKS film,” said Kevin Smith in a Reddit AMA Thursday. “But ANYONE can make a Krampus picture. So before anyone else does, I figured it’s time to keep moving forward: we’re gonna shoot COMES THE KRAMPUS in April, before CLERKS III.”
Comes the Krampus is a holiday horror anthology Smith announced a few weeks back. Different directors will each oversee segments of the film. That’s how his next movie, Tusk, came about, and the origin of a potential musical project called Helena Handbag. Now a third story has been turned into a screenplay. Described as a Smodcast version of Creepshow, with a holiday theme, it’s called Comes The Krampus and was co-written by Smith and Andy McElfresh.
