"Escape the Undertaker" is perfectly timed to the spookiest season of the year, arriving October 5, 2021 on Netflix. This gives plenty of time to play through the interactive movie in advance of Halloween, and even experience it again if things don't end the way you hoped.
What is Escape The Undertaker?
So it turns out "Escape the Undertaker" is not a slasher movie about a crazed funeral director on a murderous rampage. It's actually an interactive movie in which you, the viewer, must escape the wrath of famed professional wrestler The Undertaker. Don't worry, he won't actually be holding you hostage in your own home — he's just inviting you along for the ride of this Netflix choose-your-own-adventure style movie.
Playing as WWE Superstars The New Day, viewers get to watch the experience unfold as they make the key decisions to ensure (or risk) the characters' survival. If you're clever enough, you can avoid all the threatening fog and "Saw"-like traps. And if not? Rest in peace.

The Undertaker has set a trap for the decorated tag team The New Day at his mansion. What they don't know: The Undertaker's mansion is an extreme Haunted House, packed to the brim with supernatural challenges. It's up to viewers to decide the fate of these three poor souls trying to survive the wrath of The Undertaker.

"Escape The Undertaker" stars — you guessed it — The Undertaker! Just because the professional wrestler is retired, doesn't mean you shouldn't be terrified! Turns out that in his off-time, he dabbles in Jigsaw-like activities: The Undertaker stars as a villainous mansion owner with a bunch of deathtraps and a magical urn.
Trying to steal said urn are WWE Superstars and decorated tag team The New Day. The team believes that adding the supernatural urn's abilities to their "positivity power" will make them unstoppable — and all they have to do is survive The Undertaker. Not sure positivity stands a chance against his boobytrapped mansion, but only time will tell.
"Escape the Undertaker" comes from Ben Simms, who previously worked on the Netflix nature survival adventure "You vs. Wild." The interactive series stars professional adventurer Bear Grylls, navigating nature and completing difficult missions with the help (or hindrance) of the viewer's choices.
