First 'Spider-Man: Homecoming' Footage Arrives In Advance Of Full Trailer Release Tomorrow

We got our first look at Tom Holland's Spider-Man earlier this year in Captain America: Civil War, where he damn near stole the show from all the more established vets surrounding him. But next year he'll get to take center stage for real in his first solo movie, Spider-Man: Homecoming.

The very first Spider-Man: Homecoming trailer has officially been confirmed to arrive tomorrow, Thursday, December 8. Before we get there, though, you can get a sample the first tiny bit of Spider-Man: Homecoming footage, featuring an all-new costume for our friendly neighborhood webslinger. Click through to check out the Spider-Man: Homecoming footage and find out when and where you can watch the first Spider-Man: Homecoming trailer.

As you can see above, the first Spider-Man Homecoming trailer will swing onto screens tomorrow on Jimmy Kimmel Live, which airs at 11:35 PM on ABC. It should be online very shortly after that, and you can bet we'll have it for you right here the moment it drops.

The video above is brief but intriguing. For starters, it shows off the suit upgrade we've heard about, which adds web wings to the familiar red-and-blue getup. Even better, it turns out that new bit comes courtesy of Peter Parker's pal Tony Stark. Robert Downey Jr. isn't seen here, but his friend Happy Hogan (Jon Favreau) makes an appearance.

Also interesting is the way the whole thing is shot — it opens with Peter's POV as Happy confronts him. It has the feel of an Instagram or Snapchat video, which would actually be pretty appropriate for high school kid in 2017. And if there is anything we know about Spider-Man: Homecoming, it's that it's designed to feel like a John Hughes-esque high school movie. All in all, it looks like a very promising start to Marvel Studios' next new franchise.
