LOL: Cookie Monster Is Always Hungry In 'Avengers: Age Of Ultron' Sesame Street Parody

You didn't think Sesame Street was just going to let one of this summer's biggest movies go by without comment, did you? Feast your eyes on their latest action-packed adventure, Aveggies: Age of Bonbon. All your favorite produce-themed superheroes are here, including Onion Man, Captain Americauliflower, and Mighty Corn.

Watch the Avengers Age of Ultron Sesame Street parody after the jump.

The Avengers Age of Ultron Sesame Street parody comes to us via YouTube.

Cookie Monster sure is having issues with impulse control here. Too bad Loki wasn't around to teach him about delayed gratification.

Ostensibly, the focus of Aveggies: Age of Bonbon is, well, focus. If you're gonna fight evil villains who want to "dessert" the people of Earth, you need to be able to concentrate on the task at hand. Giant flying cookies aren't just gonna stop and wait while you indulge your snack craving.

Despite the title, Aveggies: Age of Bonbon really pulls more from the original Avengers than it does Avengers: Age of Ultron. But it's hard to mind when it's all so gosh-darn charming. Is there any more perfect appropriation of the Hulk's most famous line than Cookie Monster's "That me secret: Me always hungry"?

Sesame Street gets in some nice digs at the heroes themselves. Captain Americauliflower whines that the shield is "what makes me special," and the Mighty Corn gripes that a socket wrench is "lame" compared to his now-destroyed hammer. Best of all, even sweet, lovable Cookie Monster can't resist crapping all over the Hawkeye equivalent: "At least me try to do something, Zucchin-eye. What you ever do?"

And like the very best Marvel movies, Aveggies: Age of Bonbon features a little Easter egg references other characters in the Marvel franchise. If you look at the background, the city is plastered with banners that seem to reference Captain Marvel and Black Panther. (Or whatever their veggie-themed counterparts would be in this reality.) Well played, Sesame Street.

Avengers: Age of Ultron hits theaters this Friday, May 1. Don't blame us if this super-sweet parody has ruined your appetite for the real thing.
