Watch: Spike Jonze Backs Karen O In Performance Of "The Moon Song" From 'Her'

This is just a sweet way to spend a few minutes. Karen O of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs sang "The Moon Song" for the Spike Jonze film Her, and today on KCRW the two spent an hour or so chatting to the radio station's hosts and listeners. Part of their sit-in at the station was an intimate performance of "The Moon Song" with Jonze playing guitar along with production designer KK Bennet as Karen O sang. Watch a video of the performance below.

Karen O will also perform "The Moon Song" at the Oscars, where the song will be competing for the Best Original Song Oscar. (Also nominated are "Happy" from Despicable Me 2, "Let It Go" from Frozen. and "Ordinary Love" from Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom.)
