Superhero Bits: The Avengers, The Dark Knight Rises, The Amazing Spider-Man, Thor 2

Where can you see Tony Stark's new car in The Avengers in person? Is a pivotal scene of The Amazing Spider-Man mythology being changed for the new movie? How did Christopher Nolan familiarize himself with Bane for The Dark Knight Rises? Is Batman: Arkham World actually the title of the new video game? Read about all of this and more in today's Superhero Bits.

As great as the official teaser posters have been, fans such as Chad Russo have really made some great art for The Dark Knight Rises. Thanks to Comic Book Movie.

The Los Angeles Times has a fantastic article/interview on Christopher Nolan talking about the current state of The Dark Knight Rises. Here's just a taste discussing the choice of Bane. He also discusses the reason for the 8 year gap and more:

I didn't know [Bane] very well. David Goyer got me a bunch of stuff on him and we looked into him. I only knew him by name, I wasn't familiar with his back story. He's a very cool character. And getting an actor like Tom to take it on, you know you're going to get something very special. Tom is somebody who really knows how to put character into every gesture, every aspect of his physicality in the way that great actors can. He's a very, very physical actor. He transforms himself and it's there in every movement. He's not afraid to look at a character from the outside as well as the inside so there's a deep psychological branch to the character but also a very, very specific awareness of how he's going to use his body and his appearance to express that character too. Christian is like that too, very much.

I'm not sure if this Young Justice League cosplay by CatalystSirene is awesome or it's the photograph by Elemental but the combination, thanks to Fashionably Geek, is killer.

Tom Hiddleston spoke to Moviefone about his feeling when Kenneth Branagh wasn't coming back for Thor 2:

You know, initially, I was mad that he wasn't coming back. But, initially, when I had heard that he had chosen not to come, I was very sad because I'm so proud his achievements in directing that film. But, then, I understand why. He's very busy and he's got other things that he wants to do as an artist. As a director and as an actor.  And Marvel is so clever. They know their own metal. They know how to do the comic book stuff. Car explosions and all the CGI and stuff, but they need someone who has a really great handle on story and actors and the muscularity of performance.

Sorry, the Batman: Arkham World tease at the Video Game Awards (above) was a total hoax, that's not the title of the next game. Thanks to VG 24/7 via CBM.

Due to the amount of graphics and images included in Superhero Bits, we have to split this post over TWO pages. Click the link above to continue to the second page of Superhero Bits.

If you head to the Detroit Auto Show in January, you'll get your first glimpse of the car Tony Stark will drive in The Avengers. Thanks to MotoAuthoriy (via Comic Book Movie)

A fan posted this video, via CBM, from The Amazing Spider-Man of a possibly new take on the Uncle Ben death in the film.
