New 'Transformers: Dark Of The Moon' Character Banners Show Off Shockwave And More

Whether well-deserved or not, there is a noticeable sense of anticipation building for Transformers: Dark of the Moon. Michael Bay and other participants admitting that the second film actually sucks probably helps, and his insistence that this new movie is a lot more focused on stuff audiences want to see doesn't hurt.

Two new character banners were released today; one shows the slightly redesigned Bumblebee who, alterations notwithstanding, has been one of the series' most prominant constants. And then there is a banner full of Shockwave, who will be one of the primary villains of the film. (And may be voiced by David Warner, which would be great.) See 'em both after the break, along with the Optimus Prime banner released not long ago.

For me, the curiosity factor here is still primarily limited to seeing how Michael Bay manages his style while shooting in 3D. It's a pretty academic thing, because his style isn't something of which I've been a big fan in the past, but the necessity of slowing down just a touch to keep action clear and coherent in 3D might have a good effect. Then again, we might just get Revenge of the Fallen in 3D, and that will be painful. Hoping for the best, thought.

Anyway, here are the banners. The Shockwave one is pretty good.
