See A Tiny Bit Of New 'Captain America' Footage And A New Photo

UPDATE: Marvel has released a large new photo of Cap; you can find that after the break, too.

We'll be seeing a new Captain America trailer very soon, and last night Entertainment Tonight presented a few clips of new footage. There's not a lot here, but if you look closely you can see the first shot of Captain America throwing his shield. Check the clip after the break.

It looks like ET will be showing off the new trailer later this evening, but in the meantime you can have this clip. There's a promising shot of Cap catching his shield, likely after it is bouncing back from busting some enemy heads, and then a pretty muscular-looking shot of the throw. It all goes by pretty quick, but this is all ET offers for now. We'll update with more later in the day.

Captain America stars Chris Evans, Hugo Weaving, Hayley Atwell, Sebastian Stan, Richard Armitage, Dominic Cooper, and Tommy Lee Jones. It is directed by Joe Johnston and opens July 22.

Captain America: The First Avenger will focus on the early days of the Marvel Universe when Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) volunteers to participate in an experimental program that turns him into the Super Soldier known as Captain America. As Captain America, Rogers joins forces with Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan) and Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell) to wage war on the evil HYDRA organization, led by the villainous Red Skull (Hugo Weaving.)
