Release Date Announcements/Changes: The Zookeeper, The Adjustment Bureau, Catfish, Your Highness, James Cameron's Sanctum 3D, Ron Howard's Cheaters M. Night Shyamalan's Devil And More

We have a bunch of new release date announcements/changes to report on, including the Kevin James comedy The Zookeeper, the Matt Damon/Emily Blunt thriller The Adjustment Bureau, the 2010 Sundance sensation Catfish, David Gordon Green's medieval comedy Your Highness, the James Cameron-produced Sanctum 3D, Ron Howard's comedy Cheaters, and The Night Chronicles: Devil. Sony has announced that the Kevin James comedy The Zookeeper is being pushed back from October 8th 2010 to July 8th, 2011. The movie tells the story of a group of zoo animals who "decide to break their code of silence in order to help their lovable zookeeper gain the attention of one particular woman." The voice cast includes Adam Sandler, Sylvester Stallone, Cher and Rosario Dawson. [THR]

Nikki Finke has posted Universal's 2010/2011 release slate:

  • The James Cameron produced 3D underwater cave diving thriller Sanctum is set for a March 4th 2011 release. Directed by Alister Grierson, the action/adventure film tells the story of a team of underwater cave divers who "experiences a life-threatening crises during an expedition to the unexplored and least accessible cave system in the world."
  • The Matt Damon/Emily Blunt thriller The Adjustment Bureau has been pushed out of its July 30th release slot and will now hit theaters on September 17th 2010.
  • David Gordon Green's medieval comedy Your Highness has been bumped from October 1st 2010 back six months to April 8th, 2011.
  • Ron Howard's Cheaters will hit theaters on January 14th 2011. Vince Vaughn and Kevin James play two best friends, one of which sees his pal's wife (Winona Ryder) cheating on him with another man, and is tortured over the decision to tell him or not. Co-starring Jennifer Connelly.
  • The M. Night Shyamalan written and produced supernatural thriller The Night Chronicles: Devil has been given a February 11th 2011 release date. The film is set inside a stuck office building elevator, where one of the occupants is the devil.
  • Zac Efron and Amanda Crew's supernatural romance Charlie St. Cloud will take over the July 30th slot.
  • Rogue Pictures will be releasing the Sundance Film Festival sensation Catfish on September 17th 2010.
