Sundance Video Blog: Why Everything We've Ever Tried For Amounts To Nothing
There's a movie called Howl debuting at the Sundance Film Festival. It's the opening night film of the festival and it's attracting a good amount of buzz. Typically, an opening night movie is shown to the press at the same time as its public premiere. That was not the case this year, so this morning, our entire condo full of bloggers roused ourselves, bright and early, to try to obtain tickets. See videos chronicling our adventures (and find out if we were able to get the tickets) after the jump.
In bed at 3 a.m., awake at 7 a.m. This video captures the mood in the condo this morning:
As bad as the sleep deprivation was, it did not prepare us for the snowstorm, or the 6 inches of snow already on the ground. Or the 30-minute wait out in the snow for a bus to get to the press center.
So what happened? Did we get the sought-after tickets?
