VOTD: Na'Vi Photoshop Timelapse

Now you've got your Na'Vi make-up on (and you look beautiful, I have to say) let's make sure your passport photo is up to date too. Below the break you can see a Photoshop timelapse video in which Peter Ammentorp Lund makes over an image of himself in the likeness of James Cameron's cat folk from Avatar.

The video is probably too fast moving to be useful as any kind of tutorial for Photoshop users who are inexperienced enough to not work out how to achieve the effect themselves, but I guess that's not the point. I think this is about acknowledging just what differences there are between Human and Na'Vi facial anatomy or, to put it another way, how similar they actually are.

His choice of soundtrack cut is a nice little joke too.
