Scarlett Johansson Goes On A Diamond Heist

Scarlett Johansson is going to reteam with music video director Samuel Bayer (Justin Timberlake's "What Goes Around…Comes Around") to make a heist film.

"It's called 'Brilliance' and it's about diamond thieves, and we start shooting this winter. So many things came together in all the right ways. It really was a case of 'what goes around, comes around.' In a good way," Bayer told MTV. "Scarlett is one of the sexiest actresses around," Bayer told MTV News. "And she can just become her characters. Look at what she did during the Corvette scene, which a lot of people won't catch. She was shooting that on a green screen, and right before we were rolling, she was laughing. We start, and she's crying. It was just unbelievable. It's stuff like that which makes you know someone's a star."

I like a heist movie more than the next guy. Heck, I even loved the Great Muppet Caper (and some would say that you really must try hard to like that film). I must admit, like most of America I was really into Johansson. But for me the magic has begun to wear off. I'm not exactly sure why. If you compare the Lost in Translation Scarlett to the Nanny Diaries Scarlett, you will see a huge difference. The sexy magic has started to fade (yes, I did just write "sexy magic"). Also take note that the photo above is from the former era. Anyone agree or disagree?
