Transformers To Hold Special Nationwide Screenings On July 2nd

Nothing says a July 4th release date like July 2nd. Not only will Transformers hit theaters a day earlier nationwide, but Michael Bay has just announced that the film will also have night screenings in select markets the night before that (July 2nd). We assume much like the recent Shrek the Third and Spider-Man , that these screenings will be limited to around 1,200 screens nationwide. No word on time or details, but our best guess has the sneak preview night premiere at 8:00 or 10:00pm. We will keep you updated when we receive further information.
