MPAA Rates Stardust And Gone, Baby, Gone
We normally refrain from reporting MPAA Ratings, but we're looking forward to the following two movies.
Ben Affleck's directorial debut Gone Baby Gone has been Rated R For violence, drug content and pervasive language. Gone is an adaptation of the Dennis Lehane (Mystic River) novel of the same name. The film is getting a lot of early buzz within the industry. The story follows two detectives in search of a 4 year old girl from Dorchester that has been kidnapped in Boston. Morgan Freeman, Casey Affleck, Michelle Monaghan, Robert Wahlberg, and Ed Harris star. Gone, Baby, Gone hits theaters on September 28th 2007.
Matthew Vaughn's big screen adaptation of Neil Gaiman's Stardust (30 photos, HD Movie Trailer) has been Rated PG-13 For some fantasy violence and risqué humor. The film follows a young man named Tristan (Charlie Cox) who tries to win the heart of Victoria (Sienna Miller), the beautiful but cold object of his desire, by going on a quest to retrieve a fallen star. His journey takes him to a mysterious and forbidden land beyond the walls of his village. Stardust hits theaters on July 27th 2007.
