I’d love to know what the people at Screen Gems have on Matt Dillon. Photos of him naked with a shaved bear and a jar of Vaseline? Maybe a webcam video of him going all out dancing to ‘A Stroke of Genie-us‘? Could it be Dillon making the image above in Photoshop? It’s got to be intense. How else to explain his presence in Takers, the heist movie that’s a little bit Armored and a little bit Heat. We’ve seen one trailer already; now there’s an international version that shows off a bit more of Dillon’s presence in the film, but doesn’t do a better job of selling it. Read More »

Takers Movie Trailer (Like Heat with Paul Walker, Chris Brown, and T.I.)

This is what happens when the Ed Hardies of the world demand a contemporary, made-for-BET version of Heat that stars lawless idiots like Chris Brown, T.I., and…Hayden Christensen thugged out in a $300 fedora and bowtie. Elegantly entitled to the chagrin of Bryan Mills, Takers, the film opens early next year. To add further insult to injury (and Michael Scott’s DVD collection), The Wire‘s Idris Elba appears to be playing the De Niro mastermind in this $20 million bank robber thriller, hence no room on the poster for co-star Matt Dillon, taking on Pacino detective duties.
