The viral ad campaign for Marc Webb‘s The Amazing Spider-Man has debuted two new video clips, and one of them has some significant new footage. The first clip is a video from Oscorp featuring Rhys Ifans in character as Dr. Curt Connors, pitching the scientific value of his work to aspiring Oscorp interns.
The other is a lot more significant, as it features a few small interview clips with Webb and Ifans talking about both Connors and his scaly, villainous alter-ego, but also some new footage of the Lizard in action.
Here’s the first video, which is nice, but not as packed with surprises as the other:
That clip helped point the way to a specific URL at the Oscorp Industries website, which features a much more significant bit of footage featuring the Lizard.

The Amazing Spider-Man is the story of Peter Parker (Garfield), an outcast high schooler who was abandoned by his parents as a boy, leaving him to be raised by his Uncle Ben (Sheen) and Aunt May (Field). Like most teenagers, Peter is trying to figure out who he is and how he got to be the person he is today. Peter is also finding his way with his first high school crush, Gwen Stacy (Stone), and together, they struggle with love, commitment, and secrets.
