New Photos: Several Images From 'Thor,' And A Single 'Captain America' Shot

One new image from Captain America (above, click to enlarge slightly) and several new scans of images from Thor have come online. The other pics, along with a new synopsis for Captain America, are after the break.

These scans are via SuperHeroHype and, sadly, they're not great quality. Hit that link to see a few more, but we've pulled the most notable new images. When higher-resolution versions are available, we'll update.

In addition, there is a new official synopsis for Captain America, which stars Chris Evans, Hugo Weaving, Hayley Atwell, Richard Armitage, Natalie Dormer, and Tommy Lee Jones. It is directed by Joe Johnston and opens July 22.

Captain America: The First Avenger will focus on the early days of the Marvel Universe when Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) volunteers to participate in an experimental program that turns him into the Super Soldier known as Captain America. As Captain America, Rogers joins forces with Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan) and Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell) to wage war on the evil HYDRA organization, led by the villainous Red Skull (Hugo Weaving.)
