New Posters: 'The Wolverine' And 'Star Trek Into Darkness,' Plus 'The Hangover Part III,' 'The Bling Ring'

We're well past the point of being gobsmacked by every new material revealed for The Wolverine and Star Trek Into Darkness; by now we've got a pretty good idea of what each film looks like. Still, for those who want to keep tabs on every new piece of marketing, here are new posters for each film, as well as sheets for The Hangover Part III, the doc Salinger, Joss Whedon's Much Ado About Nothing, Neil LaBute's Some Velvet Morning, and Sofia Coppola's The Bling Ring.

First up is the Trek poster. Even if we've seen a lot from the film at this point, this is a great design.

When the crew of the Enterprise is called back home, they find an unstoppable force of terror from within their own organization has detonated the fleet and everything it stands for, leaving our world in a state of crisis. With a personal score to settle, Captain Kirk leads a manhunt to a war-zone world to capture a one man weapon of mass destruction. As our heroes are propelled into an epic chess game of life and death, love will be challenged, friendships will be torn apart, and sacrifices must be made for the only family Kirk has left: his crew.

Based on the celebrated comic book arc, this epic action-adventure takes Wolverine (Hugh Jackman), the most iconic character of the X-Men universe, to modern-day Japan. Out of his depth in an unknown world, he will face a host of unexpected and deadly opponents in a life-or-death battle that will leave him forever changed. Vulnerable for the first time and pushed to his physical and emotional limits, he confronts not only lethal samurai steel but also his inner struggle against his own immortality.

"The Hangover Part III" is the third and final film in director Todd Phillips' record-shattering comedy franchise. This time, there's no wedding. No bachelor party. What could go wrong, right? But when the Wolfpack hits the road, all bets are off.

Finally, here's a gallery of four posters from additional upcoming films. The sheet for Shane Salerno's doc Salinger is a good play on the classic cover to The Catcher in the Rye, while the Neil LaBute film Some Velvet Morning gets a pretty provocative image. I wish The Bling Ring poster was more visually interesting, in part because the film will be the last work from the late, great cinematographer Harris Savides. And the poster for Joss Whedon's Much Ado About Nothing recycles a familiar image from the film, with some new text.
