There has been one brief teaser trailer for Kung-Fu Panda 2 (“kung-fu staring contest!”) that offered only a slight bit of actual footage. Now there is a TV spot that delivers a bit more. Check it out after the break.
This is pretty skimpy stuff, I know, but in the week between Christmas and New Year’s, there’s not a lot of new material out there. But this is a nice Jack Black refresher to help wash away the taste of Gulliver’s Travels. Kung-Fu Panda was relatively fun, and now that the story is all established I’m hoping the sequel might provide a good dose of family-oriented martial arts entertainment before DreamWorks really begins milking the idea of stretching the series out into oblivion.
