Briefly: There’s no title yet for this new project, but the 50/50 team of writer/director Jonathan Levine and actors Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Seth Rogen are coming together once more for a Christmas comedy. Sony bought in over the weekend and has fast-tracked it for production this summer. (How this will affect Rogen’s work on Preacher is impossible to tell at this point.)
THR reports that the script, by Levine, is about “three childhood best friends who reunite in New York City for their annual tradition of going out on Christmas Eve.” Two of the three will be played by Gordon-Levitt and Rogen, while a third actor will be cast to round out the trio.
