As soon as a sequel to Jurassic World was set for release on June 22nd, 2018, following the record-breaking box office performance this summer, there were plenty of jokes thrown around about how the next film in the franchise would have to up the ante by going with the title Jurassic Galaxy.

Well, since Chris Pratt is one of the stars of Jurassic World and he also happens to star in a little film called Guardians of the Galaxy, you can guess what one creative YouTuber did in their creation of a Jurassic Galaxy trailer mash-up.

Here's the trailer for Jurassic Galaxy from Zenlike Productions (via friend of the site Jason Varden):

Sure this may not have dinosaurs in space, as a title like Jurassic Galaxy might imply, but this is a very well done trailer mash-up that is simple in its execution with slick editing. It even has some impressive title graphics work that looks like it was done professionally.

For the curious, this comes from the same editor who created that fantastic trailer mash-up of Big Hero 6 and The Avengers: Age of Ultron. And again, it seems like he didn't manipulate the audio from the Jurassic World trailer, but simply matched up footage from Guardians of the Galaxy perfectly with the sounds we hear.

In particular, that use of the footage of alien creatures gambling at some bar in Knowhere, combined with the sounds of the Mosasaurus eating the shark for a big water show at the park, was perfect. And the acceleration of the Milano with the sounds of Chris Pratt's trusty motorcycle from Jurassic World is a nice touch too. Of course, what this trailer really does need is dinosaurs. But we'll get plenty of those soon enough since Jurassic World hits Blu-Ray and DVD today.
