Clifton Collins Jr. has joined the cast of NBC’s new television series The Event. Collins will play Thomas, “a key player in the show’s secret conspiracy who will come into conflict with the president of the United States (played by Blair Underwood).” [Reuters]
Amber Tamblyn has signed on to appear in the upcoming season of House for a multi-episode story arc. According to Fox, Amber will play “a brilliant and aggressive medical student whom Dr. House (Hugh Laurie) hires as a new team member although she is technically not yet qualified to practice medicine.
