Triva: The Old Walt Disney Animation Operations Chart

It's Sunday afternoon, and there isn't much news to report, so I thought I'd pass along this cool Disney Operations Chart I found on Digg. The chart shows how the animation company was run under Walt Disney. Some will notice that the Management section has a "Morgue". But as Mr. Babyman points out, this is not a traditional morgue. In this case the term is used for the building/department where all the archived artwork, scripts, and development materials are housed. Nowadays it is called the "Animation Research Library. You can check out a pretty cool tour of the facilities on Ultimate Disney.

I would be interested to see what a operations chart looks like now-a-days. One commenter, named Sockpuppets, jokes: 1. Buy Pixar, 2. Attempt to extract "imagination" from them.
