Ender's Game Battle School

The Ender’s Game viral site I.F. Sentinel has been updated to include three brand new posters. They’re propaganda posters for the International Fleet, and the images take us through the three stages of their approach. Those just so happen to be three major stages of the film. First is fear, and a poster promising “The Next Invasion Is Imminent” covers that. Second is hope, asking us to “Join the Next Generation of Heroes.” Third is duty, as an image of Battle School (above) lets us all know we need to “Protect Earth.”

“Protect Earth” from what exactly? Well in the November 1 film, directed by Gavin Hood, Ender Wiggin (Asa Butterfield) is recruited to train in Battle School to help the human race defeat the evil Buggers, which are exactly what the name sounds like: bugs. Check out the three new posters below.

For more on the film, and these posters, head to the I.F. Sentinel website, which is filled with cool information for Ender’s Game fans. Here are the posters.

We’ll have much more on Ender’s Game in the coming weeks, including a report from the New Orleans set and an update from Comic-Con. The film, which also stars Hailee Steinfeld, Ben Kingsley, Viola Davis, Abigail Breslin and Harrison Ford, opens November 1.

In the near future, a hostile alien race called the Formics have attacked Earth. If not for the legendary heroics of International Fleet Commander Mazer Rackham (Ben Kingsley), all would have been lost. In preparation for the next attack, the highly esteemed Colonel Hyrum Graff (Harrison Ford) and the International Military are training only the best young minds to find the future Mazer.

Ender Wiggin (Asa Butterfield), a shy but strategically brilliant boy, is recruited to join the elite.  Arriving at Battle School, Ender quickly and easily masters increasingly difficult challenges and simulations, distinguishing himself and winning respect amongst his peers. Ender is soon ordained by Graff as the military’s next great hope, resulting in his promotion to Command School.  Once there, he’s trained by Mazer Rackham himself to lead his fellow soldiers into an epic battle that will determine the future of Earth and save the human race.
