The Toy Box: Preacher, Rick & Morty, Back To The Future, TMNT, Star Trek, Batman & More

The Toy Box is a new weekly feature at /Film that will round up some of the newest and coolest collectibles, decorations, gadgets and other memorabilia that you nerds might want for your shelves.

This week we've got some good stuff from Adult Swim's fantastic Rick & Morty, AMC's adaptation of Preacher, several new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles collectibles, a few cool items from Star Wars and Star Trek, a bloody new Friday the 13th figure and much more.

Preacher and Rick & Morty Funko POP Vinyls

Two new sets of Funko POP Vinyls are coming to shelves this summer. First up, the animated duo of Rick & Morty are on the way in July. Rick has the usual spit around his mouth and his trusty flask in had. Meanwhile, Morty has those Mega Tree seeds that end up being hidden in a very uncomfortable place. No, not the back of a Volkswagen.

In addition, Preacher is getting a set of figures coming in August. There's only three figures revealed so far featuring Jesse Custer, Arseface and Cassidy. It's a bummer that Tulip isn't included in this batch, but hopefully this is just the first series of Preacher Funko POP Vinyl figures.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens - Melted Darth Vader Helmet

This will be rather difficult to get ahold of due to its limited availability and salty price tag, but it will be well worth the cost. Artist Hsin Ho has crafted a fiberglass and resin sculpture of the melted Darth Vader helmet that Kylo Ren talks to and basically worships in Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

There are black and grey versions of the sculpt, but each is limited to 20 pieces each. With such a limited run, it's no surprise to learn that each of them will cost $500, even though they're not quite life size. Pre-orders are being taken through June 4th, so if you happen to have the cash for this item, you should probably act fast. Head to The World's End to make the purchase.

Alien: NECA's Life Size Facehugger

NECA already released a set featuring a life size facehugger alien, complete with a light-up egg for it to fit inside. But if you just don't have the room for the egg anywhere in your house, now you can just get the facehugger by itself.

The foam replica measures nearly three and a half feet long and has a bendable tail for you to wrap around visitors' necks in order to latch on to their face. Thankfully it's not full of acidic blood.

They're not there to shop. They're not there to work. They're just here. Thanks to Diamond Selects, Kevin Smith's Mallrats is getting its own line of figures. Series 1 features two characters from the 90s comedy, but for some reason they're each one-half of two different duos from the movie.

The first two figures in the new line are Jay, who comes with accessories like a sock full of quarters and a baseball hat, and Brodie Bruce, who comes with a chocolate covered pretzel and giant cookie. Each of the figures also comes with a diorama backdrop to make it look like they're in the mall from the movie.
