Late last night, two people were injured and taken to Bellvue Hospital after a high speed Times Square car chase scene went horribly wrong. The streets were closed down to film a scene for Disney’s The Sorcerer’s Apprentice which involved a Ferrari passing several vehicles on Seventh Avenue in pursuit of a Mercedes. But the Ferrari took a sharp right and lost control, swerving across the lanes, taking out a lamppost, a news stand and crashing into Sbarro. New York Post has video from the incident, which we’ve embedded after the jump.
