Community Comic-Con Panel

/Film didn’t get a chance to cover the Community Hall H panel at this year’s Comic-Con, sadly, but you can enjoy what we missed thanks to the power of the Internet.

A video of the entire event, from Dan Harmon‘s Iron Man-inspired intro to the final round of applause, has made its way online. Executive producer Chris McKenna and stars Alison Brie, Yvette Nicole Brown, Gillian Jacobs, Ken Jeong, Danny Pudi, and Jim Rash were also along for the ride. Watch it after the jump.

Human Beings, your prayers have been answered at last. No, not the one where NBC travels back in time to un-fire Dan Harmon. The one where Community finally sets a firm return date.

Meanwhile, Netflix still hasn’t gotten around to setting an exact date for the long-awaited return of Arrested Development, but one site’s got some inside info that narrows down the window a bit. Early 2013 is going to be a great time for comedy nerds. Hit the jump to read more.

Until not so long ago, fans of Community might have been excited for, or at least interested in tonight’s TV schedule. The show’s fourth season was originally set to premiere tonight, giving us the first taste of the troubled series without creator Dan Harmon. But the shortened season, now run by David Guarascio and Moses Port, has been indefinitely delayed by NBC.

But you can have some new Community today, as the cast (Joel McHale, Gillian Jacobs, Danny Pudi, Yvette Nicole Brown, Alison Brie, Donald Glover, Chevy Chase, Ken Jeong, Jim Rash) has come together to create a promo to explain just what today really means for fans of the show. Hint: it’s a mental state. Read More »

Community fans who are still reeling from the loss of showrunner/creator Dan Harmon will be happy to hear that at least some of the other key players on the series remain firmly locked in place. The entire core cast is officially set to return for the NBC comedy’s upcoming fourth season. Aside from noted discontent Chevy Chase, I don’t know that there was ever much doubt the stars would be back, but it’s good news all the same. More details after the jump.

New Images: ‘Community’ Goes ‘Pulp Fiction’

After edging around the show for a long time I’ve finally come on board as a Community fan in a big way. The show’s two seasons have had very few whiffs (last week’s episode being a sad exception) and the cast of misfits stuck in community college (‘stuck’ in an increasingly willful fashion) has turned into a great comic ensemble.

Tonight’s episode sees the cast acting out a big Pulp Fiction riff, and while that sort of thing might be tedious from most shows, with Community it could well turn out to be both very funny and a way to further explore the bonds between the unlikely group. We’ve got a few photos from the show after the break, plus a video clip teasing the story. Read More »
