Furious 8 director

This year’s Furious 7 pulled in over $1.5 billion at the worldwide box office, but Furious 8 has yet to find a director despite a release date set for April 14th, 2017. But a director for the eighth installment of the popular car heist series has been hard to nail down. Earlier this we reported that Universal Pictures had narrowed their Fast and Furious 8 director search to three finalists. But now Straight Outta Compton filmmaker F. The Signal release date

Focus Features has announced a release date for their Sundance film: The Signal‘s release date is set for Summer 2014. This shows tremendous confidence in  William Eubank‘s sci-fi thriller, which was one of my favorite films from this year’s Sundance Film Festival.

Cool Posts From Around the Web:

For most of you, this one will seem to have come out of nowhere. (It certainly wasn’t on my radar until now.) Love is a film produced and scored by Angels and Airwaves frontman Tom DeLonge, and directed by relative newcomer William Eubank. Based on this trailer, Love is a thoughtful and very beautiful piece of science fiction that aspires to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with some of the giants of cerebral cinematic sci-fi. Check out the trailer after the break. Read More »
