Jay Baruchel in Fanboys

Two of the four hundred or so Stephen King projects currently in development are making strides in casting. Jay Baruchel has signed on to lead The Ten O’Clock People, replacing Justin Long, while Isabelle Fuhrman (Orphan) and Stacy Keach (Nebraska) have joined John Cusack and Samuel L. Jackson in Cell. Thinner and The Langoliers helmer Tom Holland is heading back to the Stephen King well one more time. Holland has signed on to adapt and direct The Ten O’Clock People, a picture based on King’s short story of the same name. The new project marks a return to feature filmmaking for Holland, who took a decade-long hiatus after 1996’s Thinner and has stuck mainly to short films and television ever since.
