Cool Stuff: The Alamo Drafthouse's Godfather Posters

To help promote The Alamo Drafthouse's screening of The Godfather this month, the best theater ever has commissioned three poster prints for the film. Check them out after the jump.

The dynamic duo of Billy Perkins and Jeff Kleinsmith have gone head to head with a Impressionistic vs. Realistic poster set. Billy's measures 18×36, 4 color with a deep brown metallic copper background, is signed and numbered by the artist, and is printed by D and L out of Seattle.

Jeff Kleinsmith's print measures 24×36, is 4 color, signed and numbered by the artist, and is printed by D and L.

But I'm really digging Tim Doyle's rendering of the scene right before the infamous line "Leave the gun... take the cannoli." Doyle's poster is a long 12×36, 5 color, signed and numbered by the artist, and is printed by D and L.

All the posters are available for a limited time on Mondotees.com for $30 each or $75 for the set of three. Doyle's poster is also available in a variant printed on wood panel for $60 on GigPosters. Limited to only 15.Cool Stuff is a daily feature of slashfilm.com. Know of any geekarific creations or cool products which should be featured on Cool Stuff? E-Mail us at orfilms@gmail.com.
