FOX

Upfronts week continues with the trailers for the new shows coming to the FOX network in the 2017-2018 season. We’ve already seen the trailer for Seth MacFarlane‘s sci-fi comedy series The Orville, which looks like a solid spoof of the classic Star Trek series, as well as Bryan Singer‘s X-Men series The Gifted. But FOX also unveiled trailers for the comedy series Ghosted starring Adam Scott and Craig Robinson, the procedural drama 9-1-1 from creator Ryan Murphy, the medical drama The Resident with Captain America: Civil War star Emily VanCamp, and an airline comedy called LA to Vegas from executive producers Adam McKay and Will Ferrell.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the main blonde teen girl (Natalie Alyn Lind‘s Lauren Strucker) turned out to be a cheerleader.

The new trailer for The Gifted lays out all these things, but is it actually an intriguing show? That remains to be seen. But Amy Acker is in it, so they have that going for them at least.

Now, a new teaser has arrived, offering not only our first look at the footage from the show, but confirmation that it has been ordered to series, a release window, and a title: The Gifted.
