Believe it or not, there’s just 34 days left to go until the second season premiere of HBO’s Game of Thrones. And as that date approaches, the teasers and trailers have been getting ever so slightly more revealing. The latest ditches the dramatic narration of the last two, so we get more dialogue this time around — and, consequently, a better idea of the struggles the characters will be facing in the upcoming season. Watch the video after the jump. (Spoilers for Season One follow, obviously.)

Perfect Sense, once called The Last Word, debuted almost a year ago at Sundance 2011, and is just now finally starting to get a little promo push in the US. The concept of the film is pretty simple: what happens if our senses started to disappear, to the point where things get a bit dangerous?
It’s a bit like Contagion with added romance as Ewan McGregor plays one of the people who are experiencing the disorienting loss of senses, and Eva Green plays the girl he falls for, who also happens to be an epidemiologist who has a line on the viral outbreak that may be causing the problem. What are the odds? There’s a new trailer that is similar to one released around the Sundance debut, but has some new looks at the movie, and you can check it out below. Read More »

Now this is more like it. The first teaser we got for Season 2 of HBO’s Game of Thrones revealed absolutely nothing about the upcoming season, and though we’ve gotten some better looks since then — thanks to some behind-the-scenes production videos and a handful of set photos — it’s great to finally have a proper teaser with dramatic shots of the characters and landscapes to go with the requisite ominous voiceover.
Given that Season 2 will be based on A Clash of Kings, Book 2 of George R.R. Martin‘s A Song of Ice and Fire series, it seems entirely appropriate that the narration in this teaser comes from one of the men determined to win the Iron Throne for himself: the brittle, humorless Stannis Baratheon, played by Stephen Dillane. Watch the trailer after the jump. (Warning: Major spoilers for Season 1/Book 1 ahead.)

After months of casting news and hilariously unrevealing teasers for Game of Thrones, we finally have a real look at some footage from Season 2. HBO has released a behind-the-scenes featurette about the making of the upcoming season, and though we still don’t get to see a whole lot, we do get some good glimpses of returning characters like Arya (Maisie Williams) and Catelyn (Michelle Fairley), as well as new ones including Margaery (Natalie Dormer), Melisandre (Carice van Houten), and Stannis (Stephen Dillane).
Plus, series creators David Benioff and D.B. Weiss are on hand to talk in pretty general terms about the challenges and rewards of filming the show’s second season. Watch the mostly spoiler-free video after the jump.
