Having seen 16 minutes of Wonder Woman, as well as a presentation of the events in the first act of the film, we finally have a good idea of what all the key players in the film are doing. Obviously there’s our superheroine Diana Prince, but there are also the Amazons who raised her, a few villains, some helpful heroes, and more.
We’ve put together a Wonder Woman character breakdown based on what we’ve learned about the movie so far, including some speculation on what might be in store for a couple of the characters. Read More »
Just last week, a photo from the set of Wonder Woman made its way online thanks to previously unannounced cast member, French actor Saïd Taghmaoui, posting a photo alongside his co-star Chris Pine as Steve Trevor. But now we finally have the first Wonder Woman movie photo of our titular heroine on the set of the movie straight from Gal Gadot herself, and Warner Bros. has revealed a few more cast members as production officially begins. Check it out! Read More »
We’ve gotten plenty of glimpses of Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, even if we haven’t seen her on the set of the heroine’s first solo film in the DC cinematic universe just yet. She’ll be popping up in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice next spring, so we already know what this big screen version of Wonder Woman is bringing to the table. But what we haven’t seen is her co-star Chris Pine, until now.
A new photo from behind the scenes of Wonder Woman has revealed Pine in his World War I wardrobe as Steve Trevor. But it’s the source of this photo that also reveals a new cast member that we hadn’t heard about yet. Read More »
Here’s the latest trailer for Conan the Barbarian, in which Jason Momoa, under the direction of Marcus Nispel, seeks to reanimate the cinematic vitality of Robert E. Howard‘s signature character. Arnold Schwarzenegger created the version many know and love, and he leaves some big shoes to fill. Previous trailers and pics have left us doubtful that it is really going to work. (But also hopeful for a positive outcome.) Now take a gander at the latest trailer, from the UK, in which a young Conan picks up a sword on his way to becoming 20-something Conan. See if this does the trick. Read More »
Here’s what you need to know about the new red-band trailer for Conan the Barbarian: there is a shot in which Conan (Jason Momoa) knocks out a horse with a giant chain. There is also a lot of blood, a total absence of plot, a little bit of almost safe for work sex, and the worst piece of electro-tinged cock rock to hit a trailer in months.
Sound good? Then hit the jump to learn what a barbarian wants when he is thirsty. (Hint: it’s not what plants crave.) Read More »
Our hopes of seeing Mickey Rourke as papa to Jason Momoa’s Conan were shattered when Rourke left the project for Tarsem’s War of the Gods — but now it appears that there’s another badass on the horizon for Marcus Nispel’s Conan remake. Vulture is reporting that Ron Perlman — of Hellboy and Sons of Anarchy fame — is in negotiations to play Conan’s father Corin.
Perlman would be joining a cast which currently includes Rachel Nichols as Tamara, a royal bodyguard in league with Conan, and Stephen Lang as the villain, Khalar Singh.

The first batch of official identification card photos for G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra have made their way onto the interwebs. A bunch of previously unseen characters are featured. I have put together the image above which features the four new characters.
From left to right, Saïd Taghmaoui as Joe communications specialist Breaker, the Cobra Viper (a ground soldier, which is essentially the Cobra version of the Stormtrooper), third up is Joseph Gordon-Levitt as The Doctor (aka Cobra Commander), and fourth is Arnold Vosloo who plays Zartan, a master of disguise.
Is it just me or do these photos look horrible? When I first saw them I believed they must be fan creations. Gordon-Levitt can’t really have let them do THAT to him, could he? But it appears the photos are legit. You can check out all the information cards on HISSTANK.
