With the approaching release of Transformers: Dark of the Moon, images from the film are starting to get out into the wild. It seems like there are certain requirements for any Transformers stills that don’t feature robots: they’ve got to have explosions, Shia LaBeouf running, or characters appearing to cautiously move through a location. And now we’ve got an image to cover each one of those bases for the third film. Check ’em out after the break. And, sorry, no robots. Read More »

Chances are it’s going to be a good day when you wake up with a trailer description for the new Transformers movie in your inbox. And that’s what happened today. Our friends at the Italian site Bad Taste saw the teaser trailer for Michael Bay’s Transformers: Dark of the Moon, starring Shia LaBeouf, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Tyrese Gibson, Josh Duhamel and Patrick Dempsey, and want to tell everyone about it. The teaser played in 3D at a large convention called the Giornate Professionali di Cinema di Sorrento in Sorrento, Italy which also, reportedly, screened footage from Paul Anderson’s The Three Musketeers 3D and the trailer for Terrence Malick’s The Tree of Life.
Transformers: Dark of the Moon will be released on July 1 and this teaser is rumored to be attached to The Chronicles of Narnia: Voyage of the Dawn Treader and TRON: Legacy in the coming weeks. Read the description after the jump. Read More »

Michael Bay’s latest work is arguably better than his last two films combined. The big time director, currently in post-production on Transformers: Dark of the Moon, took some time off to go back to his roots and direct a brand new Victoria’s Secret commercial for the 2010 holiday season. The 90 second spot asks the question, “What’s your fantasy?” My answer is several scantily clad, amazingly gorgeous women, in slow motion, with four billion edits and sweeping camera moves. And that’s exactly what I got. This commercial is so trademark Bay, it’s almost laughable. If it wasn’t so beautiful. Check it out after the break. Read More »

Entertainment Tonight’s behind the scenes visit to the set of the third Transformers movie, Transformers: Dark of the Moon, is online. In a way it’s just like being there, because you’ll see the same set of explosions over and over again. Plus, because many of us complained about the characters in the last movie, this video piece is very concerned with telling us all about the characters’ relationships in the third film. Noted: be careful what we ask for. Read More »

We’ve already seen photos of the production, which stars Shia LaBeouf and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, in Chicago and Los Angeles and, with Discovery being prepped for a November 1 launch, the huge scope of the film is once again coming into focus.

We’ve known for a couple months now that Victoria’s Secret model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley would be taking over as the love interest for the third entry of Michael Bay‘s Transformers series, and have even got a few glimpses at her showing off her assets on set. But there still hasn’t been any explanation as to what her place in the film would be, or if her cleavage’s screen time would be able to compete with that of Megan Fox.
Finally, we have a little bit of insight into what character she’ll be playing. No word on the cleavage yet though. Learn more about Whiteley’s character’s affiliation with the Transformers mythology after the break. Read More »
