Last we checked in with Bridget Jones in 2004’s The Edge of Reason, everyone’s favorite “wanton sex goddess” was getting engaged to the dreamy Mr Darcy (Colin Firth). In this fall’s Bridget Jones’s Diary, our girl, now in her 40s, finally seems to have it all: a great job, a handsome man, and even an adorable little bundle of joy on the way.
… Except that, in typical Bridget Jones fashion, the job’s a struggle, the handsome man is actually two handsome men, and she’s not quite sure which one is the father of that baby. Plus, her English accent seems kind of iffy — though that’s really Renee Zellweger‘s problem, not Bridget’s. Watch the first Bridget Jones’s Baby trailer after the jump. Read More »

Over a decade after we last saw her, Bridget Jones (Renée Zellweger) will return next year in Bridget Jones’s Baby. And in typical Bridget form, she finds herself in another romantic quandary: she’s pregnant, and not entirely sure who the father is. Her on-again, off-again beau Mark Darcy (Colin Firth) is still in the picture, but so is a charming billionaire named Mark Qwant (Patrick Dempsey).
It’s a tough situation to be in, but it’s hard to feel too bad for Bridget. Not every single gal gets the opportunity to choose between Pride & Prejudice‘s Mr. Darcy and Grey’s Anatomy‘s McDreamy, after all. In fact, the love triangle looks downright cuddly in the first images from the sequel. Get your Bridget Jones Baby first look after the jump. Read More »

As the race for the year’s most coveted trophies came to a close with this weekend’s Oscars ceremony, another much less prestigious awards competition was just getting started. Nominations have been announced for the 32nd Razzie Awards, handed out to the “worst achievements in film” each year.
Leading the 2012 list is Adam Sandler, whose involvement in Jack and Jill, Bucky Larson, and Just Go With It earned him a record-breaking eleven Razzie nominations. That’s more than twice as many as the previous record holder, Norbit star Eddie Murphy, received in 2007. Other standouts include Nicolas Cage, Ken Jeong, Sarah Palin, Transformers: Dark of the Moon, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part I, and The Hangover Part II. Read the full list of nominees after the jump.

There’s a bank heist movie coming out starring Patrick Dempsey, Ashley Judd, Tim Blake Nelson, Mekhi Phifer, Jeffrey Tambor and Rob Huebel, directed by one of the guys behind The Lion King and written by the guys who did The Hangover. Sounds pretty good, right? Flypaper, directed by Rob Minkoff and written by Jon Lucas and Scott Moore tells the story of what happens when three separate crews mistakenly decide to rob a bank at the same time. It premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and will come on demand July 15 before opening in theaters August 19. After the jump, check the trailer and read why you didn’t hear much about the film after Sundance. Read More »
I wouldn’t normally recommend watching a Linkin Park music video but… you should check out the video for the band’s single “Iridescent”. The video features a bunch of new footage from Transformers: Dark of the Moon. It is almost like a new one and a half minute trailer released in the form of a clip-package music video.

If anyone who watched the latest trailer for Transformers: Dark of the Moon thought it had too much action in it, today is your lucky day. Yahoo has the first full scene from the film and it’s totally devoid of action. Or robots. Or walls with color on them. In the scene called “My Secret Weapon” we see Sam’s (Shia LaBeouf) totally out of his league girlfriend Carly (Rosie Huntington-Whitely) introducing him to her boss Dylan Gould (Patrick Dempsey). Awkward banter and jealousy ensues.
But wait. Wouldn’t it be cool if that red car was Hot Rod? Read More »
With the approaching release of Transformers: Dark of the Moon, images from the film are starting to get out into the wild. It seems like there are certain requirements for any Transformers stills that don’t feature robots: they’ve got to have explosions, Shia LaBeouf running, or characters appearing to cautiously move through a location. And now we’ve got an image to cover each one of those bases for the third film. Check ’em out after the break. And, sorry, no robots. Read More »
Chances are it’s going to be a good day when you wake up with a trailer description for the new Transformers movie in your inbox. And that’s what happened today. Our friends at the Italian site Bad Taste saw the teaser trailer for Michael Bay’s Transformers: Dark of the Moon, starring Shia LaBeouf, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Tyrese Gibson, Josh Duhamel and Patrick Dempsey, and want to tell everyone about it. The teaser played in 3D at a large convention called the Giornate Professionali di Cinema di Sorrento in Sorrento, Italy which also, reportedly, screened footage from Paul Anderson’s The Three Musketeers 3D and the trailer for Terrence Malick’s The Tree of Life.
Transformers: Dark of the Moon will be released on July 1 and this teaser is rumored to be attached to The Chronicles of Narnia: Voyage of the Dawn Treader and TRON: Legacy in the coming weeks. Read the description after the jump. Read More »
