Adam Scott Options Chuck Klosterman’s ‘Downtown Owl’

From TV star to movie star and now moving into the producer role, Adam Scott is continuing his plan for world domination. He and his wife, Naomi Scott, have started a new production company called Gettin’ Rad Productions. For their first foray into feature films, they’ve purchased the rights to Chuck Klosterman‘s book Downtown Owl. Oren Uziel (Mortal Kombat: Rebirth) has been hired to adapt the story about several different characters who live in a fictional North Dakota town where pop culture doesn’t exist.

‘Terra Nova’ Premiere Date Announced, More Photos Revealed

Fox has finally announced a premiere date for the Steven Spielberg-produced sci-fi television series Terra Nova. The new series will have a special two-night preview event on Monday, May 23rd 2011 and Tuesday, May 24th at 9:00pm on FOX. The show will then premiere in the fall. Fox has also released a ton of new photos, all of which can be seen after the jump.

Time-Traveling Show ‘Terra Nova’ Fills Out Cast

The last bits of casting are coming together for Terra Nova, the Fox show about a time-traveling family that is being exec produced by Steven Spielberg. For months we’ve known that Jason O’Mara would be the lead actor, as the father of a family that goes back in time to prehistoric Earth, and that Stephen Lang would play the military leader of the Terra Nova settlement they find upon arrival.
