In Let’s Be Cops, two friends discover a new (and highly illegal) way to get attention from the opposite sex. Two friends, one a douche and the other kind of a dork, dress up as cops for a costume party. They find, however, that people think they’re actually cops. And the reaction is pretty positive — especially from women who like a guy in uniform. And then things get messy. This new Let’s Be Cops red-band trailer shows how a couple real cops mistake the guys for officers, and the two dudes end up trying to solve an actual crime.
Luke Greenfield directed Damon Wayans Jr. and Jake Johnson in the lead roles, while Rob Riggle, Nina Dobrev, James D’Arcy and Andy Garcia round out the cast. Watch the new trailer below. Read More »

Hollywood is littered with films about cops who refuse to play by the book, and are threatened with losing their badges as a result. But cops who never got the book in the first place, because they never actually had badges to begin with? That’s different.
In the new trailer for Let’s Be Cops, New Girl roommates Jake Johnson and Damon Wayans Jr. play a pair of BFFs who dress as police officers for a costume party. When their fake outfits get them mistaken for real cops, they quickly discover that they enjoy the respect and excitement that comes with their (phony) new jobs. Watch the video after the jump.

Warner Bros. has released another trailer for the man-stealing romcom Something Borrowed, and it’s making me wonder why they didn’t just release this (superior) version to begin with. The film is based on Emily Giffin‘s popular novel of the same title, and features Ginnifer Goodwin and Kate Hudson as a pair of best friends in love with the same man (Colin Egglesfield). John Krasinski also stars — and we finally get actual context for his role! Watch the trailer after the jump.
