Krysten Ritter stars as the titular Jessica Jones, still reeling from the tragic end of her superhero career. Marvel Entertainment and Netflix have released one more teaser for their upcoming series Jessica Jones, which features Krysten Ritter in the title role. This footage shows Ritter at a bar’s jukebox, where she cues up ‘Bad Reputation’ by Joan Jett, before strolling back across the bar through the remnants of a big fight.

In just under a couple months, Netflix will bring Jessica Jones online, their second series collaboration with Marvel Studios. So far we’ve only gotten a teaser promo confirming the release date in November and some first look photos showing Krysten Ritter in the title role as a retired superhero working as a private eye.
Now another Jessica Jones teaser has surfaced by way of the Spanish Facebook page for the Marvel series. It’s a fun little tease that shows getting out of bed in the morning is even difficult for people with superpowers. Read More »

The first Jessica Jones teaser released last week was fantastic — gorgeous, moody, mysterious, and even helpful, thanks to its release date reveal. But it didn’t actually show us much of the series itself. For that, we turn to the new batch of official images released today.
Krysten Ritter leads Netflix’s latest Marvel series as the titular character, whose short-lived stint as a superheroine has come to a tragic end. She tries to rebuild her life as a P.I. who specializes in cases involving superpowered people. Melissa Rosenberg is on the Showrunner Panel representing Marvel’s Jessica Jones TV series, which stars Krysten Ritter (pictured above in Breaking Bad). Asked about her upcoming show, the edgy tone Rosenberg described seems akin to their Daredevil series, though she emphasizes the two shows are very different.
