Jason Biggs became famous for having sex with a pie in the high school sex comedy American Pie. What followed were three sequels, all involving a series of awkward sexual mishaps and just the right amount of nudity to convince horny teens to see each and every one. Even though the actor has tried desperately to shed the image with roles in Loser, Saving Silverman, Wedding Daze and My Best Friend’s Girl, it appears he can’t escape sexy comedy any longer.
Amateur Night stars Jason Biggs as a husband and soon-to-be father looking for a job that will help his family afford some health insurance. In dire need of cash, he follows up on an classified for a driver and quickly learns that instead of delivering pizzas or just driving people to the airport, he’ll be be the chauffeur to three prostitutes (Ashley Tisdale, Janet Montgomery, and Bria Murphy) for the night. Of course, plenty of shenanigans and mishaps come along with it.

Michael Bay’s live-action movie version of the Ninja Turtles may be on hold for now, but a small-screen iteration of the heroes in a half-shell are just around the corner — and this one even keeps their “Teenage Mutant” roots, so I bet a lot of you already like it better than you do Bay’s movie.
Nickelodeon’s updated Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles animated series is gearing up for a fall launch, and as such has just dropped an official trailer to air on Nickelodeon and Nick.com this week. Watch it after the jump.

As someone who was roughly the same age as the American Pie gang when the first film dropped — and who then followed the group through 2001’s American Pie 2 and 2003’s American Wedding — I’m finding it tough to separate American Reunion from the haze of nostalgia surrounding it. But that’s part of the point, of course. Much like an actual reunion, American Reunion exists for no other reason than to check back in with the East Great Falls Class of ’99. While it falls flat as a standalone film, for fans of the series, the pleasure of spending time with familiar faces once more outweighs the movie’s many flaws.

Fans of the American Pie series already have April 6 circled on their calendar, because that’s when when American Reunion hits theaters, and audiences get to see what happened to characters like Jim, Finch, Stifler and Oz as they moved forward with their lives. It’s the fourth theatrical film in the Pie series and brings back literally every single pivotal character from the original two films for a belated ten-year high school reunion. Some are famous, some are married, others are still finding their way but when they all get back together, you know the bodily functions and awkward situations will be in full effect.
To help promote the upcoming film, Universal has just released another red band trailer as well as a video called Revenge of the Pie starring Jason Biggs and a certain dessert that finally gets its paypack. Check out both NSFW videos after the jump. Read More »

As someone who was almost the same age as the central characters when the first American Pie was released in 1999, I am totally, unironically excited to see the East Great Falls crew together again for American Reunion, even as I suspect I’ll find the franchise has lost some of its charm over the past decade. Still, the marketing so far has been pretty solid, and I’m thrilled to see that even as some things have changed — they’re no longer virgins, for one — others have remained exactly the same.
The new international trailer sees returning stars Jason Biggs, Alyson Hannigan, Seann William Scott, Eddie Kaye Thomas, Thomas Ian Nicholas, Chris Klein, Mena Suvari, Shannon Elizabeth, Tara Reid, John Cho, Eugene Levy, and Jennifer Coolidge all coming back home for the all-important high school reunion, while franchise newcomers Dania Ramirez and Katrina Bowden make appearances as well. Watch the (NSFW) video after the jump.

Since so much of the appeal of American Reunion lies in whatever lingering affection you have for 1999’s American Pie, it’s only natural that the marketing folks would try at every turn to remind you of how much you loved the first movie. That tactic is especially evident in the film’s just-released poster, which recreates the one from the original.
Sure, Jim (Jason Biggs) has clothes on, Michelle (Alyson Hannigan) is holding a baby bottle instead of a flute, Oz (Chris Klein) has way less hair, and the gang is apparently eating pies now instead of fucking them — but the overall picture looks very familiar. Check it out after the jump.

The debut red-band teaser for American Reunion, which brings together all the original characters from American Pie, was all about sex — or the fact that, even as adults, some of the former kids still aren’t getting off the way they want to.
This all ages trailer is all about partying, as the Pie guys (and girls) get back together after a few years to enjoy their high school reunion. While the red-band was amusing up to a point, this trailer seems to be avoiding all jokes, perhaps so they can be fresh in the full movie. But if you want to see Stifler in prime shouting mode, and the possible hookup of a couple Pie parents, check out the trailer below. Read More »
The American Pie kids are all grown up, but that doesn’t mean that things have fundamentally changed. An adult-oriented teaser for American Reunion has arrived, and it shows how delicately the film handles the topic of finding time to jerk off when you’ve got a kid. Check it out below.

Tough as it is to believe, it’s been over a decade since we first met the American Pie cast in 1999. If that made you pause and think “Wow, that makes me feel old,” you’re just where Universal Pictures wants you to be. The marketing team behind American Reunion has been pushing the nostalgia angle (not surprisingly), and I, for one, have found it totally effective. Their latest effort is a montage of the core cast goofing off inside a photobooth — a simple idea that might nevertheless have you going “awww” as each familiar face flashes by. Hit the jump to see the slideshow, plus a promo image of the Class of 1999.
