The marketing campaign for the next Fast & Furious movie has officially kicked into high gear. Today Universal finally confirmed the Furious 7 title by revealing the first Furious 7 poster. Additionally, they’ve confirmed details on next weekend’s Furious 7 trailer release, which will be an interactive fan event. Get all the details after the jump.

The art above is the production logo for That’s What I’m Talking About, the new film from Richard Linklater. We’re stretching the definition of “sequel bits” just a little here, but the movie has been called a “spiritual sequel” to Dazed and Confused. Linklater started production on the movie this week, and that image is in celebration of the ongoing production.

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest

Fast and Furious 7 Images
Vin Diesel has posted a couple new Fast and Furious 7 images on Facebook. He has also seen the first trailer for the new sequel, and reports:

Universal came to visit, to show the trailer for FF7… Speechless… yeah, it was that INCREDIBLE! I must also say, that it was emotional and bittersweet… we all went above and beyond to make Pablo proud, but man, I wish he could see what we have created and just how far we have come.

Vin Diesel Fast and Furious 7

After the tragic death of star Paul Walker, the fate of Fast and Furious 7 was very much in doubt. Everyone knew Walker would want nothing more than the film to be finished, and the cast and crew pulled together to get the movie done. New cast members were added and a later release date was set. Finally, Fast and Furious 7 finished filming this week. It’s the same week, coincidentally, that the film was originally going to be released in theaters.

To mark the occasion, a note was put on the Fast and Furious Facebook page thanking fans for their kinds words and prayers. It’s a really nice tribute to Walker and the rest of the group. Read it below. Read More »
