The first trailer for Mr. Nobody is now online for the second time, courtesy of Quiet Earth. Earlier this week a version dubbed into French popped up in a few places, but despite being the latest from Belgian director Jaco van Dormael, Mr. Nobody is in fact an English language movie and this is our first chance to hear the on-screen performers deliver their dialogue. The full promo has been embedded below the break and I recommend it fully.
The film stars Jared Leto, Sarah Polley, Diane Kruger and Rhys Ifans and, judging by this trailer, Daniel Mays has a pretty tasty role too. I shared the following synopsis of the film when I posted some stills from the film a few months back:
Mr. Nemo Nobody is 35 years old and lives an ordinary life with his wife and three kids but, somehow, he one day wakes up in the swimming pool of an opulent mansion in the year 2092. Not only is he the oldest man in the entire world, at 120, he’s also the only mortal man – nobody else is ever going to die. He tries to work out what is real, and if his real life is the one he should have lived.
Quentin Tarantino‘s Inglourious Basterds premieres tonight at the Cannes Film Festival, and three clips from the film have shown up online. Watch them now after the jump.

Universal Pictures International has released a batch of new photos from Quentin Tarantino‘s Inglourios Basterds on CineMovies (found via ThePlaylist). The new production photos take a look at some of the characters not included in the character posters we’ve been featuring over the past few weeks (as well as some of the “Basterds” we’ve seen before) and some of the location shots from the movie. Above is a photo of Til Schweiger as Sergeant Hugo Stiglitz, an ex-Nazi who is recruited into the Basters unit. More photos after the jump.

The Weinstein Co has released the third character poster for Quentin Tarantino‘s Inglourious Basterds, featuring Diane Kruger. The other two character posters released thus far feature Brad Pitt and Eli Roth. In the film Kruger plays Bridget von Hammersmark, a popular film star in Nazi Germany and a spy for the allies. Check out the whole poster after the jump.
/Film reader Christopher M sent over some new photos from the Paris set of Inglourious Basterds. Above is director Quentin Tarantino talking to one of the cast members. Below is German singer/actress Jana Pallaske and Daniel Brühl, who plays Frederick Zoller. And further below are photos of faux movie posters and billboard advertisements for actress Bridget von Hammersmark (Diane Kruger).
The Weinstein Co today sent out a press release announcing last week’s start of production on Quentin Tarantino‘s upcoming WWII film Inglourious Basterds. You might notice that both words are misspelled, much like the early screenplay that got leaked onto the internet a few months back. That is the official title of the film, likely in an attempt to distinguish itself from the 1978 Enzo Castellari film which inspired Tarantino.
You can read the full press release after the jump, which features a full cast and crew listing. New additions to the cast list include: Omar Doom and Michael Bacall (from Death Proof), Julie Dreyfus (Sophie Fatale from Kill Bill), Cloris Leachman (from The Mary Tyler Moore Show), and many others. Photo above thanks to Tarantino Archives. It is also worth mentioning that an Inglourious Basterds poster has again begun to circulate the internet movie sites. It has the wrong title spelling, so I’m pretty sure it’s fan created.
