Adam Savage Hellboy

There’s plenty of impressive cosplay out there, but the reason people pay attention to former Mythbusters co-host Adam Savage is because he makes a fun game out of it. Every year for San Diego Comic-Con, Mr. Savage dresses up in some kind of detailed, professionally made costume and challenges fans to find him. Usually he reserves these costumes only for San Diego, the biggest convention in the country, but since he was personally invited to the inaugural Silicon Valley Comic-Con recently, he decided to have some fun.

Adam Savage dressed up as Hellboy, which was pretty cool since the first time he went incognito for Comic-Con was back in 2009, and he also dressed like Hellboy then. NYCC cosplay

New York Comic Con has come and gone, and while there wasn’t any particularly huge news to come out of the convention, there was still plenty of cool stuff to see. Some Pepsi Perfect bottles were handed out to Marty McFly cosplayers, but there were plenty more dressed up fans as a new music video illustrates.

The folks at Sneaky Zebra have put together a slick but simple little music video that shows off some of the best NYCC cosplay, but in a much more stylish way than snapping a photo and throwing it in a gallery. Marvel cosplay comic book covers

If you’ve ever been to Comic-Con, WonderCon or any kind of pop culture convention with fans dressed up as their favorite characters from the realms of fantasy and sci-fi, then you’ve likely seen some pretty impressive cosplaying, some even coming close to looking like the real thing. And now some Marvel cosplayers will get as close to being a real superhero as they can.
