On Thursday, Marvel TV took over Comic-Con’s second biggest venue, Ballroom 20, to present their next new Netflix series, Luke Cage starring Mike Colter. Fans were first introduced to the indestructible bartender in last year’s Jessica Jones, but this fall he’ll branch out on his own to become the hero of Harlem.

Marvel TV’s Jeph Loeb was on hand to moderate the panel, with showrunner Cheo Coker and actors Mike Colter, Mahershala AliAlfre WoodardFrank WhaleyTheo Rossi, and Simone Missick all onstage to tell you why Luke Cage could be your next new favorite show. Mike Colter made his Marvel universe debut as the unbreakable Luke Cage last year in Jessica Jones, but this fall he’ll get to grab the spotlight all for himself. Today at San Diego Comic-Con, Marvel TV and Netflix unveiled the very first Luke Cage teaser trailer. Luke Cage showrunner

Daredevil is out next week, AKA Jessica Jones is filming, and now Netflix and Marvel are setting up the third piece of their universe. With Mike Colter already cast as Luke Cage, now he needs a boss.
