Avengers: Age Of Ultron might be the end of Phase Two but, according to one of its new members, it’s just the beginning.
While the first footage from Avengers: Age of Ultron was undoubtedly the highlight of Marvel’s 2014 Comic-Con panel, a few of the actors on stage (which included Robert Downey Jr., Jeremy Renner, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Colbie Smulders, Samuel L. Jackson, Chris Evans, Aaron Taylor Johnson, Paul Bettany, James Spader, Elizabeth Olsen and eventually Josh Brolin, who showed up at the end.) dropped hints at what their characters might mean for the future. In particular Olsen – who plays the Scarlet Witch – said that she and Quicksilver (Taylor-Johnson) coming into the mix sets the tone for the upcoming Marvel films. Read her, and more Avengers Age of Ultron cast quotes, below.
UPDATE: You can also now watch the full panel. Read More »

Paul Bettany took the stage with the rest of the Avengers: Age of Ultron cast today during Marvel’s panel in Hall H. But we didn’t see any significant shots of the character in the footage preview, and Bettany had little to say during the panel that lets us know what to expect from Vision. So all we’ve got on the character is that concept art shot above, and that ain’t much.
Today I took part in a small roundtable interview with Bettany, and there he dropped more than a few hints about how the character behaves in the film, and what we can expect from him in the context of action scenes. The best note? One of the character’s best powers is intact. Read More »
As expected, the cast of Avengers: Age of Ultron (minus an injured Joss Whedon) took the stage in Hall H during the Marvel Studios panel and presented the first footage anywhere from the highly anticipated sequel. The film opens May 1, 2015 and we heard the footage won’t be online for some time (probably like last year’s Guardians of the Galaxy reel which took months). In it though we saw Ultron in multiple forms, the Hulkbuster, Andy Serkis as a human and so much more.
Below, read about what was shown in the footage during the Avengers 2 Comic Con panel. Read More »
Update from editor Peter Sciretta: Marvel has released the final two character posters, completing the image and bringing the total up to eight. One of these new ones features a character we haven’t seen yet: Vision. He’s not front and center in the poster that does feature him, but we see enough to know that it is a pretty classic rendition of the character’s look.
Marvel Studios often drops concept art for its movies as posters at Comic Con, and this year is no different. The studio has released the first two of what will obviously be a series of posters featuring concept art from Avengers: Age of Ultron. Today’s posters show Iron Man and Scarlet Witch doing battle against a horde of Ultron replicas. They’re by two different artists, Ryan Meinerding (Iron Man) and Andy Park (Scarlet Witch). We’ll update with additional posters in the Avengers 2 concept art collection as they become available.
