Lets face it, the MTV Movie Awards is not a real award show. It’s more a piece of badly choreographed television “entertainment” than anything else. I mean, at what other Award show does Twilight: New Moon take home five awards, and the movie Obsessed win… well, anything — EVER?

Screen Media has released the trailer forFlatliners producer Rick Bieber‘s feature directorial debut Crazy. The film played a couple dozen film festivals where it won a handfull of awards (including best film, best soundtrack, best screenplay) and is going direct to dvd. The movie starring Waylon Payne and Ali Larter tells “the compelling story of legendary music pioneer, Hank Garland, who’s known as one of the greatest American musicians of the past century.” Looks like the standard musical biopic. I can imagine a writer standing in the big office of a studio executive’s office. He pitches this idea for a comedy where Cavemen who yearns for more out of life than sticks, stones and raw meat. It could be a good movie, right? Wrong.
Homo Erectus is directed by Adam Rifkin and stars Adam Rifkin, Ali Larter, David Carradine, Talia Shire, Hayes MacArthur, Gary Busey, Tom Arnold, Giuseppe Anddrews, Miles Dougal, Ron Jeremy and Carol Alt.

I’ve never really been a fan of the Resident Evil movies. So it came as a huge surprise that I actually enjoyed the The Resident Evil: Extinction teaser trailer. The teaser opens with an incredibly cool constructed visual of the extinction of Las Vegas. Does this mean it’s going to be a good movie? Way-way–Wait a minute. I never said that.
