How can you drive every Batmobile at the arcade? Want to see some new images and video from Thor: The Dark World? Has someone made a cool, new Wonder Woman fan film? Will Loki and Malekith be teaming up much in Thor: The Dark World? Did James Gunn use a lot of film recently on Guardians of the Galaxy? Read about all this and more in today’s Superhero Bits.
Rainfall Films released this solid new Wonder Woman short film.
Marvel Comics Editor-in-Chief Axel Alonso spoke to Comic Book Resources about the links between the Guardians of the Galaxy comic and movie:
The Guardians have never been more relevant to the Marvel Universe. If the series provides a breadcrumb trail that leads readers to the movie, that’s great, but our job is to make a great comic book — period. To create great stories featuring Starlord, Rocket, Groot and crew for anyone who wants to read them, before or after the movie hits.
Of course, many of us have read the movie script and seen stuff that hasn’t been made public yet, so we know what a treat people are in for. I knew James Gunn before he was tapped to helm the movie — we’ve snowballed story ideas for comics — and I can tell you, he is a major talent with a great love and respect for the comic book medium. He is going to knock this movie out of the park.
Marvel.com posted a bunch of cool looks at Diamond Select toys from Thor: The Dark World.
The LA Times did a great article on the 50th anniversary of The Avengers.
IGN.com posted a ton of images of the vehicles in Lego Marvel Super Heroes.
I’ve got to tell you, there really isn’t that big a connection actually [between Malekith and Loki], when it finally plays out. A movie comes along with a baddie, and then [for the sequel] you add another baddie to that mix. But in terms of Malekith and his maneuvering, there’s not a huge amount of screen time with those two guys together. There’s an implied connection – which Loki plays with – but it’s not hugely developed strand in the film.
Comic Book Movie posted a few new TV spots for Thor: The Dark World.
The creator of Gotham Central is unaware what the deal is with Gotham, the upcoming TV show, via The Mary Sue.
Holy shit. We shot 63,000 feet of film Saturday. 11 1/2 hours of film. One scene. We're in for some long dailies tonight! #gotg

Sounds like a pretty insane day, recently, on the set of Guardians of the Galaxy.
